You lead the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system and report results to the quality section manager.
How you will contribute
You will support elements of the site’s quality system, including internal documentation and change management control including quality policies amendments and registration of internal and external documentation, internal audits, effective PDCA cycles and CAPA system management and management review. In addition, you will coordinate the eQCMS bi-annual review, handle consumer complaints from start to finish, and serve as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspection and contacts management.

Key Responsibilities
- In handling Salmonella positives, handle class 2 pathogen live pathogen cultures and PCR.
- Ability to make critical decisions to evaluate and interpret the micro results. Which is a very skilled activity.
- Critical decisions for the release or acceptance of batches is based on the senior microbiologist’s visual interpretation of the results and having this skill level.
- Accountable and must be able to understand FSSC, FSSAI, ISO, regulatory requirements related to microbiology and Food Safety requirements.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of APC, Yeast & Mold, Coliforms, E. Coli, S. Aureus, Salmonella
- Ability to perform initial proficiency testing must be passing and competency will be verified.
- Sample and perform analysis of ingredients, in-process and finished products by closely following standard operating procedures and protocols for both aseptic and conventional processes.
- Troubleshooting and run micro lab equipment such as PCR, autoclave, Incubator, Milli Q and ensuring testing is completed in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement the environmental monitoring program, PEM, and Zoning.
- Compliance and governance for Implementation of Testing control and PEM Mondelēz global Policy.
- Overall leading micro-operation end to end.
Education / Certifications: Qualification – M.Sc. Microbiologist
Job specific requirements: Minimum 5 Year of experience in microbiologist.
