Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define fortnightly priorities in coordination with the central team.
- Define and submit weekly experiment plans.
- Ensure all experiments are systematically logged in experiment log table
- Ensure weekly and monthly targets for the number of experiments and transitions to production are met.
- To collate monthly consumer feedback and plan quarterly product improvement as per logged issues
- Take care of planning and execution of product changes to be made as per the decided product upgrade cycles.
- Update the centralised COGs log upon experiment finalisation and production rollout.
- Ensure all apparatus and ingredients are available 72 hours prior to any experiment.
- Set monthly budget and ensure funds are being allocated ethically
- Update the cost optimization report for the MOM.
- Ensure QA protocols for newly launched products are developed before the launch.
- Ensure pilot production batches are produced smoothly.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 Years of work experience in Research and Development in Food Manufacturing, Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical Industry
- Hands-on experience with basic food-related equipment, such as Hot Air Oven, Kjeldahl, etc
- Basic knowledge of more complex equipment, such as HPLC and GC
- Experience in conducting market research
- Experience in conducting ingredient research
- Experience in conducting need specification research (output-driven research)
- Proven experience in COGs reduction
- Relevant knowledge and experience with research tools
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with food-related equipment (Hot Air Oven, Kjeldahl).
- Knowledge of complex equipment (HPLC, GC)
- Ability to conduct market research, ingredient research, and need specification research.
- Experience in COGs reduction.
- Proficiency in Research tools such as Mendeley, Stata, Examine, and Google Scholar.
Good To Have(s):
- Additional experience with advanced research and experimentation methods.
- Familiarity with more complex or specialised equipment in the food production industry.
- Experience working on cost optimization in production settings.
