Job Opening for Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Argo Chemicals/Crop Protection)
Location: Bangalore
Experience Required: 4-5 years (Experience in crop protection or agrochemical regulatory affairs is mandatory)
Qualification: B.Sc & M.Sc in Agriculture / Science Graduate
CTC – 12 – 14 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of state and central regulatory guidelines for agrochemical products, particularly Biopesticides, Bio stimulants, and Biofertilizers, including handling sales permissions in India and International markets.
2. Regulatory Approvals: Obtain and renew necessary licenses for biopesticides and biostimulants, ensuring adherence to FCO (Fertilizers and Bio-Stimulants) and CIBRC (Biological Pesticides) regulations.
3. Label Validation: Validate product labels and leaflets in compliance with regulatory standards for various authorities like FCO (Fertilizers and Bio-stimulants) and CIBRC (Biological pesticides).
4. Data Generation: Lead data generation efforts as per OECD, OPPTS, APVMA, and ABNTR (Brazil) international guidelines. Responsible for data generation for 9(3) registrations of new bio pesticide products and permanent registrations for biostimulants through GLP laboratories and institutes such as ICAR/SAU.

5. Liaisoning & Interface: Liaise with state and central authorities in India to maintain product licenses and secure new registrations. Interface with product development, formulation teams, marketing and regulatory departments to ensure project success.
6. Trademark & Patent Registration: Oversee the registration of trademarks and design patents for newly developed products.
7. International Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for generating data for international markets, particularly in the USA, Brazil, South Africa, East & Central Africa (APERA), Colombia, Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and Australia. Ensure compliance with respective export country guidelines for biopesticides and biostimulants.
8. Co-formulant Validation: Validate co-formulants used in biological pesticides and Biostimulants to ensure their compliance with regulatory standards.

1. Regulatory Affairs expertise in agrochemicals, particularly biopesticides and Biostimulants
2. Strong knowledge of state and central regulatory requirements
3. Data generation and regulatory submissions in compliance with international guidelines
4. Excellent liaison and communication skills for working with regulatory authorities, product development teams, and international partners
5. Knowledge of trademark and patent registration processes
6. Familiarity with product registrations in key international markets
7. Strong project management skills and ability to interface across teams
