Unilever’s premium frozen dessert brand, Magnum Ice Cream, is all set to deepen its footprint in India and the broader region by establishing its India and regional headquarters in Mumbai, supported by a significant investment of ₹900 crore in a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune.
The announcement was made during the India Global Forum NXT25 Summit held in Mumbai, where the Maharashtra Government signed MoUs worth nearly $50 billion with a mix of domestic and international investors.
Strategic Move for Regional Growth
The newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Government marks a major step in Unilever’s commitment to India as a key player in its global operations. The Mumbai HQ will serve as the regional command center for the Middle East, Turkey, and South Asia, consolidating operations in some of the world’s most dynamic and fast-growing markets.
