National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), a Statutory Corporation of Govt. of India under the Ministry of Cooperation, was established on 14.03.1963 under the Act of Parliament (NCDC Act of 1962) for economic development through cooperative societies.
The major objective of the Corporation is to promote, strengthen and develop the farmers’ cooperatives for increasing production and productivity and instituting post harvest facilities.

Government of India norms. - Though no vacancy is reserved for OBC/SC/ST category, such candidates can still apply. However, they will not be
eligible for any relaxations, except for waiver in application fee admissible for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PwD (not less
than 40% benchmark disability) candidates. - The educational qualification, age, experience etc. as stipulated in advertisement shall be determined as on last date of receipt of applications.
- In the event of number of applications being large, the Corporation will adopt short listing criteria to restrict the
number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number by any or more of the following methods:
(a) On the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
(b) On the basis of higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
(c) By counting experience before or after the acquisition of essential qualifications.
(d) By holding Recruitment Test. Generally, weightage in the ratio of 75:25 is accorded for marks in Recruitment
Test and for marks in interview in determining final merit. - For the post of Assistant Director, working experience in Govt. Sector/public sector undertakings/ autonomous
bodies shall be considered as experience in a developmental institution. - Mere fulfilling of essential qualifications would not entitle an applicant to be called for written test /interview.
NCDC may make a preliminary selection on the basis of academic records/percentage of marks/experience etc.
NCDC reserves the right to modify the selection procedure, if deemed fit. - Besides Pay, the posts carry D.A, H.R.A. and Transport Allowance at Central Govt. rates. Other benefits include New Defined Contribution Pension Scheme, Gratuity, Group Insurance, Medical reimbursement and LTC as per rules of the Corporation. Employment in the Corporation involves liability to serve anywhere in the country
