Job Description:
We are looking for a Bottling Chemist to join our distillery unit. The selected candidate will be responsible for quality control, chemical analysis, and ensuring compliance with excise and safety regulations in the bottling process. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers with relevant qualifications to start their career in the distillery industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Testing & Analysis – Conduct chemical testing of rum, whiskey, and other spirits before and after bottling.
- Alcohol Content Verification – Ensure accurate ABV%, pH levels, clarity, and color consistency in each batch.
- Excise & Regulatory Compliance – Maintain records as per Excise Department and FSSAI regulations.
- Process Monitoring – Supervise filtration, blending, and dilution to ensure quality standards.
- Equipment Calibration – Handle lab instruments like alcohol meters, pH meters, and spectrophotometers.
- Sanitation & Safety – Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of bottling equipment.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Technology (Freshers are encouraged to apply!)
- Basic understanding of alcohol chemistry, fermentation, and bottling processes.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and quality control protocols is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.
