Job description
- Research and analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and industry developments related to meat-based value-added products.
- Lead the development and implementation of new product concepts from ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, operations, and sales to drive product development initiatives.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments for new product concepts and make report and circulate within management team.

- Create and maintain project timelines, budgets, and milestones for new product development projects.
- Coordinate product trials, testing, and validation processes to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop product specifications, packaging designs, and marketing strategies for new products.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance in the market, gathering feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements relevant to meat-based value-added products.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to enhance product knowledge and business relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science/ food technology or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5-7 years in new product development within the meat industry, with a focus on value-added products.
- Strong knowledge of meat processing, formulation, and preservation techniques.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and product development software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
