Education: B.Sc/M.Sc in Food technology 

Job Purpose:

This position includes enabling application, research & development of peanut butter, raw material innovation and process engineering. The position requires a sold understanding of food nutrition, QA/QC and regulatory functions, a customer service focus and good interpersonal skills.

The formulation development technologist will provide knowledge and expertise in technical aspects of nutrition and formulations to the business and be able to effectively communicate with customers, peers and the wider business.

Role requirement:

  • 3-4 yrs. of experience in new product development in food industry and bringing about enhancement in the existing products.
  • Manage product development for Health & Nutrition based product.
  • Strong knowledge in nutrition and food ingredients.
  • Assisting in development of formula, manufacturing process, packaging & prototyping in close coordination with team Lead and ensure deployment.
  • Assisting in claims and legal compliance with local requirements
  • Good knowledge on product Shelf-life management, inventory, and vendor development.
  • Use appropriate information according to country food regulations and other relevant information to support the design of premixes for products exported to various countries.
  • Coordinate with chefs, sales, and operations in delivering a perfect product within the time frame.
