JOI Farms of the JIS Group, known for its premium dairy products like A2 Milk, Probiotic Lassi and Yogurt in Kolkata and Greater Kolkata now presents a new flavour, the Coorg Elaichi Lassi. The flavour will be launched on the occasion of Durga Puja in West Bengal.
The naturally extracted flavour is derived from freshly harvested cardamom from the fields of Coorg, Kerala. This is an exotic variety of cardamom locally referred to as the “Malay Yalakki” and is grown by a sizable number of small and marginal farmers in over 11,000 hectare of land.

So far JOI has two flavours of Lassi – Plain Lassi and Litchi Lassi. The Coorg Elaichi is the third flavour launching this Durga Puja. What makes it special is that it is a Probiotic Lassi made with the patented BB12 from the Danish bioscience company Chr- Hansen probiotic which is good for cleansing the gut and promoting digestion. It is the only available probiotic lassi in the Eastern market to date. Only 8 gram of sugar per 100 gram is used which makes it a healthy choice for consumers. The cardamom flavour is naturally extracted from real spices and not artificial flavours.
