- Manager – Quality Control – FMCG Fresh Foods (Snacks, Cookies, Atta)
- Salary Budget for the role – 8 – 9.5 LPA
- The role will be based in Bangalore.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a B.Tech degree in Food Technology and a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in R&D, Quality, or Production within the food industry. Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations in all aspects of food production.
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product consistency and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections and ISO 22000 audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of quality control activities.
- Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or customer complaints.
Product Development and Testing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product development strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to the R&D team in the development of new snacks, breakfast cereals, high protein bars, flavor oats, muesli, peanut butter, various ways of atta, and other healthy products.
- Conduct product testing and analysis to ensure product quality and consistency.
Industry Trends and Advancements:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality control practices.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, BSC Food Tech, MSC Food Tech with at least five years of related experience in FMCG (Snacks, Cookies, Atta).
Professional Experience:
- 5-6 years of experience in R&D, Quality, or Production within the food industry.
- Hands-on experience in new product development, specifically in snacks, breakfast cereals, high protein bars, flavor oats, muesli, peanut butter, atta, and any other health products.
Certifications:
- Certification in FOSTAC, FSSC 220000, ISO 22000, HACCP.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and software.
