Job Summary:
We are looking for a Microbiologist to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our meat products by monitoring and controlling microbial contaminants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological testing of food samples as per FSSR (Food Safety and Standards Regulations), 2011 regulations.
- Prepare and maintain microbiological media
- Handle and operate laboratory instruments, including incubators, autoclaves, and microscopes.
- Perform physio-chemical tests, including Free Fatty Acid (FFA) analysis
- Salt, Moisture, Routine analysis of food samples
- Update and maintain accurate records of laboratory tests, including results, observations, and conclusions.
- Have knowledge of food safety audits and regulations, including FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related field
- 2+ years of experience in microbiology or quality control in the meat industry
- Strong knowledge of microbiology and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
