Job Title: New Product Development Executive (Ice Cream)
Location: Pune
Position Summary: As a New Product Development Executive, you will be crucial in creating and launching new ice cream products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that products meet quality standards, comply with regulations, and align with market trends and customer needs. Your responsibilities will span from idea conception to post-launch evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-functional leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams throughout the product development process.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Commercialization, QA, Production, and Engineering teams.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure new products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to inform product development.
Project Management:
- Manage project timelines and budgets for new product launches. Participate in Idea-to-Launch (I2L) project teams.
Ingredient and Recipe Management:
- Work with ingredient suppliers to create and update purchasing specifications.
- Maintain ingredient documentation systems.
- Create ingredient and recipe specifications.
Product Launch and Evaluation:
- Oversee the development and introduction of new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or related field.
- 5-6 years Experience in product development within the food industry (preferably ice cream).
- Strong project management skills. Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
