We are seeking an experienced Planning Officer to join our team at Britannia Industries Ltd!
- Position: Planning officer.
- Location: Ranjangaon, Pune.
- Salary: CTC Range of 4.0 to 5.5 LPA.
Desired Competencies:
As a Planning Officer, you will be responsible for various aspects of production planning, material planning, finished goods management, and coordination with the purchase department.
MBA in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or any engineering/graduate degree. – 5-8 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or related roles. – Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning:
– Generate day-wise production plans, considering material availability, transit material, line efficiency, and SKU’s C/O. – Complete the weekly/monthly demand plan. – Control and manage the Production Plan Control (PPC) and Production Variance Analysis (PVA).
2. Material Planning:
– Work on available raw material (RM) and packaging material (PM) stock, ensuring coverage and monitoring shortages. – Schedule just-in-time (JIT) material deliveries to ensure no production loss. – Responsible for inventory control of materials, including planning, stock levels, storage, and inter-factory transfers (IFT).
3. Finished Goods Management:
Ensure the timely movement of finished goods as per the distribution plan to avoid space congestion.
4. Purchase Coordination:
– Schedule material procurement based on production plans and material requirements. – Maintain close coordination with the Purchase department to ensure timely material connectivity.
