At GO DESi, our mission is to make DESi ‘POP’ular. We are a packaged food brand making regional DESi products relevant and accessible to customers while ensuring quality and authenticity. Today the bulk of our products operate in the Impulse category. Our best seller is DESi POPz, we sell more than 90 lakh POPz monthly. Our other categories include DESi Meetha, DESi Mints, and DESi Bytes. We have an integrated backend i.e. we own the entire supply chain from sourcing to manufacturing.
GO DESi aims to be a sustainable brand with a larger purpose to become a beacon for non-zero-sum capitalism, where all stakeholders win.
Brief
We at GO DESi explore and build confectionery products inspired by local and regional traditions, flavors, formats, and memories. We ensure that our product meets all the quality standards before it reaches our consumers. We are looking for a Quality control Executive who is thorough, observant, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering the best quality product to our consumers.
Responsibilities
- Implement the quality control systems/standards for the processes, units, physical system, and environment.
- Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines at manufacturing locations.
- Comply with the standard procedure of manufacturing and inspect the final products.
- Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
- Set the standards for raw materials, intermediate, and 3rd party products for suppliers and monitor their compliance in the manufacturing units.
- Ensuring the best quality of product and minimum customer complaints through stringent quality control checks and finished product inspection.
- Communicate and share reports about quality standards to keep all stakeholders on the same page.
Requirements
- Bachelors /Masters in Food Science or Food tech.
- Certification in FSMS /QMS is a strong advantage
- Experience of 1-3 years. ( Immediate Joiners Preferred)
- Willing to Relocate to Bidadi and need to work on shifts
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- You are detail-oriented and keep a result-driven approach to work.
- You desire to work in a fast-paced environments
- Fluency in Kannada
