Telangana Chief Minister A. Reventh Reddy inaugurated Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages’ (HCCB) greenfield factory at Banda Thimmapur in Siddipet on Monday. The state-of-the-art facility, built with an investment of ₹2,091 crore, spans 49 acres and is set to enhance Telangana’s industrial landscape.
Advanced Facility to Drive Growth and Employment
The new factory, equipped with seven advanced production lines, aims to create 410 direct and indirect jobs. The current phase has already utilized ₹1,409 crore, with further investments planned to scale operations. This facility complements HCCB’s existing factory in Ameenpur, Sangareddy District, reinforcing the company’s significant presence in Telangana. Together, the two factories represent a combined investment of ₹3,798 crore and provide employment to over 1,000 individuals.
A Boon for Telangana’s Industrial Sector
Chief Minister Reventh Reddy praised the investment as a testament to Telangana’s conducive business environment. “HCCB’s investment in Banda Thimmapur underscores Telangana’s appeal as a hub for global industrial investments. This initiative will generate jobs, uplift communities, and contribute to the region’s holistic development,” he stated.
Juan Pablo Rodriguez, CEO of HCCB, highlighted the factory’s blend of technology and sustainability, calling it a “benchmark in the industry.” The facility integrates cutting-edge manufacturing processes while adhering to sustainable practices, aligning with global trends in environmental responsibility.
