He has been associated with the drafting of the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011, and various Regulations made under the Act. He has handled complex drafting of the replies to be filed on behalf of the Union of India and FSSAI in matters filed by the petitioners challenging various provisions of the erstwhile Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 (PFA) and Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules, 1955 and the Act, rules, and regulations made thereunder. In this regard, he worked with the Solicitor General of India, various Additional Solicitors General of India, and Assistant Solicitors General of India and briefed them for presentation before various courts of law. He has handled all the legal documents in FSSAI pertaining to various agreements, MOUs, EOIs, etc.
